About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven AI Business Development Manager to drive growth for our premier AI consulting practice. In this role, you will build relationships with enterprise decision-makers, identify AI transformation opportunities, and sell high-value consulting engagements in AI strategy, governance, and product development. This is a consultative sales role where you will partner closely with our world-class AI strategists and consultants to deliver transformative solutions to Fortune 500 clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage a robust pipeline of enterprise AI consulting opportunities
• Conduct discovery conversations with C-suite executives to understand business challenges and AI readiness
• Present AI consulting services and solutions to technical and business decision-makers
• Partner with AI strategists to scope engagements and develop compelling proposals
• Negotiate contracts and close deals ranging from $250K to $2M+
• Manage complex enterprise sales cycles (3-12 months) with multiple stakeholders
• Maintain strong client relationships and identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts
• Represent AInspire at industry conferences, networking events, and client presentations
• Collaborate with marketing on lead generation campaigns and thought leadership initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience in consulting, professional services, or enterprise software
• Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota and closing deals of $250K+
• Experience with consultative/solution selling methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger, etc.)
• Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and ability to discuss use cases with technical buyers
• Excellent executive presence with ability to build relationships with C-suite decision-makers
• Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling AI/ML consulting services, data science solutions, or cloud transformation engagements
• Background in technology, computer science, or engineering (technical degree or work experience)
• Existing network of enterprise contacts in target industries (financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing)
• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools
• Understanding of AI governance, ethics, and regulatory compliance landscape
• Track record of building new markets or launching new service offerings
